Fempure Mini Mart

The Fempure Mini Mart model establishes 10 community-based retail hubs in rural and peri-urban areas of Islamabad, Punjab, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK), offering affordable menstrual products while creating sustainable economic opportunities for women entrepreneurs. The model trains 10 women entrepreneurs to operate women-led Mini Marts that provide walkable access to menstrual hygiene products for approximately 15,000 menstruators, while simultaneously increasing Fempure product sales through community-embedded retail channels.

Fempure Mini Marts function as community hubs, combining retail sales with menstrual health and hygiene (MHM) awareness activities to stimulate sustained demand and informed product choice. By placing women-led retail points within walking distance of underserved communities, the model removes geographic, financial, and social barriers to menstrual products and creates safe, trusted spaces for accessing MHM information. These Mini Marts also serve as consistent and visible points of sale, strengthening Fempure’s brand presence, building customer trust, and driving long-term growth in product uptake within target communities.

Currently, two Fempure Mini Marts are operational:

  • Morgah, Rawalpindi

  • Tajabad, Peshawar

These hubs are actively supporting women’s livelihoods while expanding access to affordable menstrual products at the community level.
